About Me

I am one hell of a crazy bitch! lol To elaborate... I was raised on a farm in Nebraska by a hippie, city-girl Chilean mom and a German, Catholic farm boy dad. I've lived in Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Miami, Santiago de Chile and New York within the past six years. I am by nature a comedienne, dancer, actress, singer, painter and writer, and I'm pretty good at telling stories. By profession I am, or have been, a reporter, producer, writer, radio dj and director. I know my way around fixing tires and toilets, but I suck at cooking and would probably cry if forced to play soccer (that is just way too much running!) I am a huge flirt. I am also a huge Nebraska football fan. I still have moments in which I think an alligator is gonna come sneaking out of the gutter and snap my leg off. So sometimes I am a little crazy...

Guess I can't go to Miami. My Spanish is plebian. I've always been impressed that Jessica Alba does get press for being Latina, she could've picked up a different stage name and ignored the whole thing altogether and she hasn't.

Music that’s in my head (and playlists):
I like sooo many types of music. From chick rock to hip hop, classic rock to reggaeton, oldies to R&B. Lately though I've been sick of just about everything current and commercial. Recently I've kept it pretty steady on Calle 13' Residente o Visitante, Mala Rodriguez' Malamarismo, and Jill Scott's Who Is Jill Scott? (Always a classic.)

The stuff I’m obsessed with:
music, movies, women's rights, immigration rights and food!

What I can’t live without:
Books, my Treo phone, hand sanitizer, a radio, and my little sister Claudia :)
