Afrobeta's karmic musical affair began in June 2006 when Tony "Smurphio" Laurencio met his muse and musical partner, the fiercely spunky and talented, Cristina "Cuci Amador" Garcia during one of his live performances. Since then, both have been riding an electronic, bilingular stream of sweet funk with Afrobeta. A cosmic mix of electronic funk and ghetto-tech house, Afrobeta's sound has spread feverishly through the Miami music scene in just a short span of time.
