What you need to know about me:
I'm 27, and I've been writing since I was 12 years old, and if I keep it up, in the next few years I have a feeling I might start to get good at it. I worked maintenance at a truck stop for five years and just recently decided to go back to school in order to do something with myself. I write fiction and editorial-type stuff, and have a blog where I write and put up silly and profane little comics, which tells you just about all you need to know about me.

Music that’s in my head (and playlists):
Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Modest Mouse, Ray Charles, Cephas and Wiggins, Bob Dylan, Big Bill Broonzy, Pete Seeger, God only knows what else . . . rock 'n roll, blues, folk, bluegrass, some good country if I can find it (which, if I listen to the radio, I can't) . . .

The stuff I’m obsessed with:
Writing, film, comics, the scene in the film CLOSER when Clive Owen says to Julia Roberts, "I slept with someone in New York. A whore." HILARIOUS.

What I can’t live without:
My girl, my cat, my truck, my movies and music, something to write with, and I've grown pretty attached to the ice cream shop right across the street, too.
